There are lots of questions I get asked as a wedding planner during my first meeting with couples. It is vital that we get to know each other more at this stage before we progress with your wedding. So I thought I’d put together some of these questions and answers below to help you!

How long have you been a wedding planner for?

I launched Lucy Ann Events in 2019 during the pandemic. After working with VIP guests and royalty on Super Yachts then working as a wedding and event planner in a 5* hotel, I wanted to offer my experiences and skills and felt that during this difficult time, there were so many couples out there who needed reassurance and help.

Do you work with specific budgets?

I offer different services that can be tailored to any budget, including On The Day Management, Tailored Wedding Planning, Full Wedding Planning & Destination Wedding Planning.

If you are stuck with an issue whilst planning your couples wedding day, how do you overcome this?

I always say, there is a never a problem, always a solution. Of course there are obstacles that come in the way whilst wedding planning, but with my knowledge and working with amazing industry suppliers, I always ensure that we overcome the issues that happen.

We live abroad, is this a problem for the planning?

Most of my couples live oversea, I am used to working around the time difference whether it is early in the morning or into the evenings to ensure that we work together through the planning! Meetings in person, I can arrange a video call with you or put together a video and share this with you. For food tastings, I can arrange this on your behalf and gather all the information via the caterers.

How many weddings do you plan a year?

With the different services that I offer, I only plan a handful of Full & Destination Weddings a year so that I can give you my full attention. It is very important to me to be personal and communication is key! For all other services, I take more depending on my availability.
